Message subject : Ongoing volatility on the Nasdaq

Despite the ongoing volatility on the Nasdaq exchange certain smaller stocks have attracted buying, although volumes remain low amid cautious trading.
Among the features Neighborhood Cable (NCA) has jumped 23% to 58c, P.O.S Media (PMD) has gained 18.3% to 48.5c following an earlier announcement while Pacrim Energy (PRE) rose 16.6% to 14c after announcing an MOU with Currumbin Sand & Gravel P/L.
Over 3.4 million PRE shares changed hands. Elsewhere Quadrant Australia (QAD) gained 14.8% to 15.5c on 1.7 million shares before being halted pending an announcement while Oropa Ltd ended at 12.5c, up 13.6% with over one million shares traded.
