The Nasdaq recorded its second-largest point decline ever, shedding 257 to 4,188. The loss of 5.8 percent comes one session after the index posted its largest point gain ever. Trading on the tech-heavy index was the second-lightest so far this year, with 1.41 billion shares changing hands. Traders over at the NYSE were also hesitant, with just 854 million shares trading. That's the lightest volume on the Big Board in 2000.
