Message subject : Warnings of imminent crashes

This message was posted by Gail on April 05, 2000 :

We have all heard the warnings of imminent crashes when taxi drivers, bell boys and A Current Affair start giving stock tips (by the way, no offence intended to taxi drivers or bellboys), but letter box drops??
Today I found in my letter box, a quarter A4 page (no letter head or signature, not personally addressed) extolling the virtues of CRS and ASL 2 mining related companies and pointing me to their web sites. A target share price was even given for ASL.
Have anyone had similar experiences?? It caught me by suprise.
As a disclaimer, I dont hold either stock and dont intend to.

Good trading in these interesting times
