"Expectations of a rate cut were building in the last three or four days
and there was some genuine disappointment," says Jon Olesky of Morgan
Stanley Dean Witter [MWD]. "The easing bias is a positive step but it falls
short of what some were banking on, and money that came into the market in
recent days came out real quick."
