The Federal Open Market Committee meets Tuesday and an announcement on
interest rates is expected at about 2:15 PM EST. Most analysts expect the
Fed to leave rates unchanged. Investors, though, will be watching for any
clues from the Fed's policy statement as to future rate moves for the rest
of the year.
