Just when investors thought it might be safe to go back into the markets,
another round of economic releases next week could create a sink or swim
scenario for investors. The National Association of Purchasing Managers
releases its index for July on Tuesday and its non-manufacturing report on
Thursday. These figures are ones that Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan watches.
The Employment Report for July will be released on Friday.
Stronger-than-expected data could lead to another rate hike in August.
